- No adult moisturizers
- No steroid creams without doctor advice
- No talcum powder in folds
- No fragrance-heavy products
- No essential oils directly on skin
- No homemade DIY pastes on face
- No whitening soaps
What To Do (Age-Wise Plan)
0–3 Months
- Exclusive breastfeeding (8–12 feeds/day)
- Proper latch
- Gentle oil massage
- Lukewarm water bath
- Mild baby soap 2–3 times/week
- Daily moisturizing
3–6 Months
- Continue breastfeeding
- Tummy time daily
- Cotton clothing
- Clean neck & skin folds properly
6–9 Months
- Start iron-rich solids
- Continue breastfeeding
- Hydration
- Pediatric-approved sunscreen if needed
9–12 Months
- Balanced solids (dal, rice, vegetables, fruits)
- Good fats in moderation
- Morning outdoor play
12–18 Months
- Family food (low salt & sugar)
- Adequate sleep (11–14 hours total)
- Daily outdoor activity
18–24 Months
- Daily protein (dal, egg if applicable)
- Iron & calcium-rich foods
- Physical play
- Balanced hydration
